She was born on the 13th of September, year 1965 and has earned a staggering gold bracelet in one of the biggest events in the poker industry, the World Series of Poker or the WSOP on the year 2004. She also garnered one of her biggest achievements on 2010 in a Heads-up National Tournament of the game.
Annie Duke held the crown as the top woman player of the game, however, she step down from her throne as Vanessa Selbst took the spot from her. She was also renowned for being one of the co-founders of 'Ante Up For Africa' which is a charity organization she built with Don Cheadle, an actor, on 2007. She had a lot of contributions to the industry and the world which only makes it evident why she's revered by many people across the globe.
